Digital Distortion without reaching 0dBFS

Hi everybody

I was tracking some voices today I found something strange, my track got digital distortion without reach 0dBFS

My path was: KSM44 → UR824 → Cubase 7

There’s nothing in the UR824 strip channel (

Hi distante,

The waveform shows clipping at about -7.0 dB, which is what your mixer strip image shows.

Where there any plugins inserted anywhere in Cubase - input, output or in the UR824 mixer?

No, no plugins or any kind of processing.

I have been point out that maybe that is a mic overload. :confused:
