Is the Dirac version different (better) from Wavelab 7 to Wavelab 8?
The version was 3.5 in WaveLab 7, and it is 3.6 in WaveLab 8.0.2
And it sounds great! 
I’ve just made a comparison between DIRAC 3.6 and the Radius algorithm in Izotope RX2. Both are fantastic sounding pitch tools, but pitching a bass guitar and then a stereo acoustic guitar up and down two semitones, DIRAC sounded the best. The MPEX algorithm used in Cubase 7 is not that bad, but it really can’t compete with DIRAC or Radius.
Anyway, just had to share my findings.
