Direct Routing - Macro to select different slots

Hi everybody,

On Cubase 13 Pro I am trying to create a macro that allows me to toggle the different direct routing slots of all channels at once. Is that possible to create in the logical editor? Ideally I would like to map hotkeys to the macros. I could then press one hotkey to activate direct routing slot 1 of all channels. Another hotkey to deactivate. Yet another hotkey to activate direct routing slot 2 on all channels. Etc.

The closest I could find is what Winter_Rat posted here:

Go to Logical Editor and do this: [Logical Editor.PNG] save Preset As “Add CC#1 60” \ Go to Key Commands and create New Macro “CC#1” [Macro.PNG] 3.Go to Progect Logical Editor and do this: [PLE.PNG] That’s it. P.S. It works if all your MIDI events start at the 1.1.1.0 and every MIDI event has at least one note.

However, it has been created on an older version of Cubase and the naming in the logical editor has changed. So unfortunately I haven’t been able to adapt it to my needs.

Hi,

You can’t do this by using Logical Editor (which is for processing MIDI). You would need Project Logical Editor. But I’m afraid, there is no way.

Thank you for the help Martin. So the only way is to select all the tracks manually, quick-link them, and then shift-click the slots as needed? I hoped that there would be a way as direct routing is automatable. I guess I will have to restructure my routing instead.
