I had seen a video about being able to directly edit the blobs on a waveform and I thought it was to choose the range tool and hold shift/control and the then as i hover over the blobs they become highlighted and I can quickly change the level of the audio blobs. This isn’t working and I’d like to know what I’m doing wrong.
You probably aren’t using the right modifier keys.
You are able to choose that in Edit> Preferences> Editing> Tool Modifiers> Range Tool> Audio Segment Editing.
What is an audio blob?
The segments of the waveform. I figured it out. I needed to choose a modifier key in my preferences.
