Disable Cubase-Wavelab Exchange feature

Hi

Is it possible to disable Cubase-Wavelab Exchange feature?

I’m asking since when Cubase starts while Wavelab is opened,
it takes a long seconds delay for this feature to start.

Yes, there is a hidden setting for this:

Locate the following file:
Windows 10
C:\Users[UserName]\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\WaveLab Pro 9\Startup.ini
Mac:
/Users/YourName/Library/Preferences/WaveLab Pro 9/Startup.plist

Then open it and add this entry:

NoExchange=1

On Windows, this is easy: this is a text file.

On the Mac, you need to right click in the plist editor, and select “Add Row”

Then You need to set “NoExchange” as variable name. And then select “Number” as Type. Then 1 as value.
