Hi,
How to disable playback? (space bar) in the Direct Offline Processing window (MacOS). There is no such problem on Windows.
Hi,
What exactly do you mean, please? What is your use case?
Hi! I usually do the processing in the “Direct Offline Processing” window, and then listen to it in the session along with the mixing (using space). In the basic version 12, there was no need to click on the main mixing screen to listen. I have not found how to change this using hotkeys.
In other words. In the “Direct offline processing” window that opens (after processing), by pressing the space bar, the entire mix should sound in the project window, and not in the “Direct Offline Processing” (solo) window. As it was previously in Cubase 12.
Hi,
Do I understand correctly, you start the Audition in the DOP by pressing the space-bar, but you would expect the Project playback. Am I right?
Hi,
I cannot reproduce this behaviour on my side (also on Mac).
Could you try in the Cubase Safe Start Mode [Disable preferences], please?
If it doesn’t work, could you try to quit Cubase and rename/remove Cubase Preferences folder, to get the factory settings (in your case, to migrate Cubase 12 preferences to Cubase 13), please?
Cubase Preferences folders are:
Mac: ~/Library/Preferences/Cubase X
Win: %appData% \Steinberg\Cubase X_64
Where the X is the Cubase version (for example 13).
Hi,
Deleting the folder from Cubase 13 settings has helped me. Martin, I really appreciate it. Thank.
