Disable switching ON/OFF loop when clicking on the ruler

OMG, please tell me there is finally a way to do this. I know I’m resurrecting an old thread here but Jesus is this annoying. For me it isn’t even consistent which part of the ruler I click in to turn this on and off, so it makes it even more annoying still.

Is it possible to do this yet? (As if they’ll ever implement something people ask for.)

Has this feature been implemented in Cubase 10 or 11?

I would really like the preference to turn off the behavior that toggles cycle/looping when clicking on the upper part of the project ruler. When this behavior is turned off (by preference) then please allow the full height of the ruler for handling click events for specifying the location of the cursor. Thanks!

Edit: I found another post that explained it. It’s implemented in Cubase 10.5 at least. It’s: Preference → Transport → ‘Clicking Locator range in Upper Part of the Ruler Activates Cycle’
