This happens while writing an arrangement. How do you disable the feature that shows tacet?
Empty bars would be preferable so the you can jump ahead, insert rehearsal marks, chords in certain measures, etc instead of having to work bar-by-bar.

Will replace it with a multi-bar rest.
If you don’t want multi-bar rests at all in a layout, then Layout Options>Players>Bar rests…
