Disable the Audio Engine?

Here is another

Hi @aa12tone , then please do the following:
Open a Finder window and from the menu choose ā€˜Go > Go to Folderā€™.
You are then prompted for a folder location, copy and paste there the following line:

~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports

and hit enter, that will bring you to that location.
In there have a look for anything with Dorico4 or VSTAudioEngine5 in itā€™s name, zip that up and post here. Thanks

Thanks Ulf, here is the VST crash report

Hi @aa12tone , thank you for the data. Itā€™s pretty clear now but I donā€™t know what advice to give.
There are plenty of crash files of the audio engine and they all point at HALion Sonic SE as the culprit for bringing the audio engine down. I can also see that you have the recommended new version of HSSE installed. Obviously that one poses no problem in Dorico 4 but it seems somewhat not compatible with Dorico 3.5 with you. I have to report this problem to the HALion team and wait what they have to say about it. Sorry that I donā€™t have a solution at this moment.

Thank you
