Hi! I use middle click all the time to drag and move the score around. However, I often times accidentally click on notes or other items when doing this which a) is annoying and b) sometimes results in me accidentally changing something which I only notice later.
Could you please add a setting where the user could choose for the middle click to only drag the score and not interact with any notes or objects? This would really make moving around in the score much more relaxed.

Was this ever implemented? It happens to me fairly often. Maybe there’s a handier and safer way to navigate a score than middle-click-dragging around?

No, we haven’t yet implemented this suggestion. Off the top of my head, I don’t think there’s a way to specify that nothing in the score should be selected regardless of where you click, other than temporarily switching to Setup mode.
