Disappearing Device list

Hey, has anyone had this problem: When I press F11 or select Device Lists/VST Instruments under Devices, my VST Instruments is not is appearing.

Hi,

Make sure, the window is not hidden behind another window. Very often, it happens, the window is hidden behind some window, which is “On Top”. You can check in the Window menu, which windows are open.

bingo, Martin! the VST window was hidden behind the Video.

Thank you very much. I wonder: is there a way to set up widows so that the selected window is on top automatically though. Seem to make sense that way, no?

Hi,

The only way would be to don’t set any window “On Top”. Some window have this settings by default (plug-in windows, for example, or Video Player, as you mentioned…).
