# Disappointed with Cubasis 3 - worse performance with external USB equipment (Digitone)

Thank you for your message.  
Actually, the overall app performance should be improved with the lates v3.2 release.

Please give these steps a try:

- Load an empty project
- Close all running apps, including Cubasis
- Shut down the iPad

Do you still encounter issues when using Cubasis after restarting the iPad? If so, could these be related to a specific 3rd party AU app?
