For all those of you fed up with opening a panel and finding it lost behind all the others…

Shift (e) engages Always On Top! - independently of the VST Pref setting.

[edit] Also works for Instrument panels.

sweet, does this work with beat designer?

Ok I just tried this and it seems to do dick all on any open window. What is the point of this exactly? Perhaps I am just ignorant, but would like to better understand what to expect from this little ‘trick’ and how it could be useful to me.

I often click on an insert and can’t see the (non-AOT) panel because it’s behind other stuff that is. Opening it with Shift-Click forces AOT, that’s all. Something else I didn’t know so I thought I’d share it.
