This started today for me after running windows update. Beyond frustrating. Everything worked perfectly yesterday morning before running windows update. I CANT WAIT TO DITCH WINDOWS.

Yep… me, too. I’m hitting this as well. I think it’s contributing quite a bit to all the VST meter overloads I’m hitting in general.
Steinberg, get with it: stay on Microsoft’s ass 24/7 if you need to.
Solve this. We’re losing our minds here with these performance problems, many of us. Can’t get anything done and making music is really starting to be no fun at all. I’m trying to remind myself I used to like this, but every time I get locked in a groove, these dropouts drop me right the eff out of it.
