Dithering in 12 Pro

Hi
I upgraded from 9 to 12 a few months ago. This morning, I’m trying to prep a DDP for a client. UV22 seems to have been removed from the software. I can see talk about Lin Pro Dither, yet cannot find it in Wavelab 12. When I look thru instructions, it says to go to dithering tab in master section & choose options for dithering, yet none appear. This is extremely frustrating. Can someone point me in the right direction please? Many thanks!

in the final effects/dithering tab, right click and Lin dither in in the Steinberg section, do you have these options appearing?

if it doesn’t you would goto the preferences → plugins menu, hit expand, in the mastering section/“folder”, you’ll find lin dither, tick the box “final” so the Lin dither appears to enable it to be put in that section

mine has always been there by default however going up through from 9,10,11 & 12

Use the Search Field, that the quicked way.

Thank you for your reply.
No, nothing appears when I right-click in Dithering.

Also, no Lin plugin in plugins menu… as indicated in your reply.

I’ve purchased Maat Linpro. Works like a charm.

I used the search field first. Nothing.
Been a Wavelab user since V1.

Can you see the other Steinberg plug-ins? Like Masterig, for that slot?

You should be able to find “Lin Dither” in
File > Preferens > Plug-ins > Organize
search/find “Lin Dither”
else I think it’s not installed!

regards S-EH

Yes, I can load Masterig

Do you see this, exactly like this?

Yes, I can see exactly that but the plug doesn’t appear in Master section (Final effects/dithering)

Hold up. Now it appears. Since I purchased from Maat, the Steinberg version appears when it didn’t before. Nor did it appear in the search field before purchasing from Maat. Weird. Tried using WL 9 but can’t open it since I installed V12

Anyway, c’est réglé. Inutile de perdre plus de temps là-dessus. Ca m’a déjà couté assez cher en temps et argent.
Merci à tous/Thank you everyone.
