Divisi clef

hello,

I can’t get rid of this not needed alto clef in the divisi staff.

If I delete it or hide it it becomes a g clef.

I’ve looked at the divisi staff earlier in galley view but it was long ago it went to alto clef…

help ?

Can you post a flow or an excerpt that we can inspect?

Your last divisi section (2nd staff) was in treble clef.
I restored the divisi bar 423, added an alto clef at the begining of the bar, restored the unison, and deleted the alto clef at 462.

glorious !

I tried this but deemed it a failure since you still saw the alt clef before 423. UNTIL you put unis there, and I never did…

Thank you !!

alternatively - you can add an explicit alto clef in the bottom staff in bar 422, then (opt) move it to the downbeat of 423. then delete the clef preceding 463

and that helped me to solve the case in 209 where the cue put a g-clef on a unis double stave… that I changed now in the same manner…
perfect !

Another alternative – as the divisi is performed already in bar 461 in the part – move the divisi change back to bar 461 and there change the clef to alto. Then you can delete the clef in 463.

thank you. I think it’s better to look for a layout in-dependent solution.
this would/could break if I redo the layout..

thank you ! /sincerely /joakim
