Divisi staff labels overwritten when Condensing is enabled

When Condensing is enabled, divisi staff labels no longer follow their specific settings and are instead overridden by the condensing logic. This leads to unwanted results.

In a stripped-down example, the cellos are playing in divisi. At a system break, the staff for Cellos 7.8 no longer displays the correct label, showing only “Vc.” instead. This can lead to dangerous misunderstandings, especially across a page turn. A player or conductor would naturally assume that the tied D belongs to the entire cello section, rather than just desk 7.8.

Even when applying a Condensing Change and selecting “No Condensing,” the staff label is still overwritten by the global condensing option. There seems to be no way to manually edit the staff label while simultaneously preventing the divisi visualization.

Unless I am missing something, I would really appreciate a better solution for this scenario, where the two features (condensing and divisi) interfere with each other in a less-than-optimal way.

Thanks in advance for your help
