DMX Lights sometimes react sometimes nothing

Hi everyone,

I’m using VST Live 2.1 and have programmed my DMX track. The MIDI events are supposed to trigger my lights, but unfortunately, it doesn’t work reliably. I keep experiencing issues where MIDI events aren’t recognized, and, for example, a moving head gets stuck in the middle of the programmed rotation.

What could be causing this?

If you’re using a DMX track try using the “reduce events” option.

Could you explain your setup?
Talking about MIDI while light are receiving DMX, we need to clearly see what you want to solve by doing this and that :slight_smile:

Here’s what the project looks like: Sometimes the entered DMX channel works, and sometimes it doesn’t. I use a MacBook Pro with M2-Chip.

Hi @jonas_s,

first of all be sure that you are working with the latest Pre-Release? You can find the latest version here. Is it better?
Then, have you checked the DMX Monitor? (Menu / Devices / DMX Monitor) Is everything correct?
