dmx newbie
hello, i would like to control 6 different lamps with dmx.
I have no previous knowledge.
What do I need from devices (minimum) so that I can control this with VL.

DMX is an exciting and complex world, but end of the day everithing is about adressing and channel levels regardless what kind of DMX compatible lamp park we are talking about. VSTLive can handle these levels, but for a smoother start, I would skip VSTLive for a second and learn about DMX itself first. Saying this as an artist who payed for light programming several times, sit together with specialist and finally showfiles are saved on big ligthning desks.
