Do folk prepare before updating CB editions

Just thinking out loud here.
Have been doing any prep before updating to new versions of CB?
You know the usual stuff backing up files should be standard etc.

Also, is it worth it to rem: out your preferences folder to something like OLD_Preferences so that you get a fresh set of prefs created by the new update.
I’m asking as I see a lot of folk are experiencing all sorts of odd issues and wonder whether this might help folk when updating.

Yes IMO, then you are getting the full CXX background preferences , if there are any issues what so ever with the previous version then you are only replicating them in the later version , re-adding key commands and the main stuff isn’t really a hard task but the new C13 build insures it’s real build title
