I am new to GA and wonder if I have a good set of patterns supplied by the expansion pack, how can I get something that seems locked into a supplied tempo to play with the track at a different tempo. I don’t see anything in the Player Edit window. Is this the impossible dream?
It should play at your Projects tempo. The supplied tempo is what it was originally recorded at, that will change when inserted into a Project.
This should be set by default. But if not…
To make Groove Agent follow your project tempo, you must activate the Follow Transport setting. This syncs the plugin’s internal patterns, styles, and warped loops to your DAW’s master tempo track
Thank you Thank you Merci, Gracias. That was a duh I didn’t see in lower left. Do you happen to know where Steinberg provides a full descriptive list of the various expansions? The samples are just a few. Would be nice to have a short preview of the styles or something. Where are all the 6/8 patterns for instance.
