Do i need to install GA SE if i have the full GA

I had to reinstall my cubase, and, as i have the full GA 4 edition, in the installer i told cubase not to install GA SE.

But should I have?? or is it ok to not having it? (im asking that question cause withe the 8.5.20 update, i saw a “groove agent se content” being not installed)

I don’t know, but if I were you I would do it for compability reasons. E.g. if someone shares a project file with you and that person uses GA SE, then you can load that project right away without reassigning the VSTi.

true

FYI
Its important to put the SE version even with a full version…
Some kits (apparently from GAone) can’t load without it… like the kit “classic 80s”.
Could open it, but every sound were off, and the research didnt find the VSTsound.
I reinstalled GAse, tried again “classic 80s” and it works fine!

SO DO INSTALL GA.SE EVEN YOU HAVE THE FULL GA4 !!!

Yeah, it’s worth it to still install GA SE 4 if you have the full version. It has some good drum kits.
