DO NOT drag n drop multiple audio files on top of extension

Onto separate tracks, of which one is a melodyne extension. It will :collision: crash the poughkeepsie out of your project.

For some reason, Cubase, instead of creating new tracks for the separate tracks option, decides to overwrite on top of audio tracks that have a melodyne extension on it.

There needs to be an PREFERENCE under: Editing > Audio > import to always create new audio tracks when dropping multiple files into the project onto multiple tracks….or something like that.

I am trying to understand the logic of its current method.

I tried this multiple times, and it did not crash every time. Just don’t bet on it.
