This may not be an issue as such, and I could log it in the Miscellaneous section however…
I don’t know if the situation effects all editors, but it is massively annoying to begin work on a project, e.g. after a day of working on the same project only the day before; to go and select a bunch of MIDI parts to work on and Solo is already selected.
The situation is exacerbated by the fact that when Edit Active Part is turned on, only the currently selected instrument is heard, which in reality means the music is no longer heard.
Seriously, you (me) are cycling over a section of a song, you do not want the music to stop at any cost because you are in critical listening mode.
So much for Musicology, need I say more?
