do not want to save each take how do I set up?

I do not want cubase to save every take I do on a given track (wave audio format)

I just want it to save the last take done before saving and closing the project.

Is it possible to make this setting?

Yes it’s possible.

when you finish all your Records and wanna close the Project
go to
Media > Open Pool Window (Or just Press Ctrl+P)

then right click anywhere into the window and “Remove Unused Files” This will delete every thing in the “Audio” Folder, Except files into the Workspace (or timeline)
