Do parts have to Overlap or can to tuen this off?

When I duplicate a midi part, it goes on top of the next part you then have to (right click) and Remove Overlaps, I was sure there was a pref for this but I just can’t find it .

Okay, I found a preference. I just forgot that I’d switched it over in case anyone else is wondering on this thread. This is the answer.
