To achieve a chord symbol of D circle (D with a high o) I have to type in the Chord Symbol pop-up: Reo. So apparenty it suddenly uses the French ‘do re mi’ style. What could be the reason of that?
In general, you type in the chord in a standard format (say Ddim7 or Dd7 and set the Engraving Options>Chord Symbols to display them as you want (with the circle).

For some reason I forgot that we should use ‘dim’ and not ‘o’ for dim. Must be spring! Thanks Janus!
