I an into a situation where I tuned the Bass DI with Melodyne. I duplicated the channel for having more than one bass tone and had to make some changes, so I deleted that track.
Now, that Melodyne extension is stuck in the melodyne window. If I remove the extension from my Bass DI (I don’t need it anymore), what happens is now the bass DI is playing along with the duplicated version and things are phasing out and getting weird. If I bounce selection to remove the extension, it still gets phasey and weird. It’s like the extension is stuck on this other bass track that no longer exists and it plays back with my DI track at the same time.
Has this ever happened to anyone before? There’s a stuck extension in the Melodyne window to a track that doesn’t exit.
EDIT: I created another track and named it the same name as the stuck extension in the Melodyne window, then disabled that track and it made it go away. I hope this helps someone else, because that was NOT fun hahah
