Does Cubasis require supported hardware?

Hi!

Do you guys know if Cubasis require specific hardware, like the Cubasis LE does, or
can I use any audio interface that works with the ipad? will the built in michrophone work too?

For example, a friend of mine has a microphone, imic, that he can connect directly to the ipad, works perfectly in
garage band, will that work with cubasis?

Hi,

thanks for your interest in Cubasis. The app is fully functional on your iPad without any external hardware. That also includes the build in microphone.

Any class compliant external audio interface would technically work with Cubasis.

Please let me add to Ricky’s reply:
The supported LE hardware is required only to unlock Cubasis LE’s specific feature set (unless unlocked the app runs in demo mode).
