Does dorico recognize chord charts without staves?

I often want to import jazz chord charts which are lyrics and chord symbols only. No staves. Does Dorico 5 handle this?

Do you mean Chord Pro format?

I am not familiar with chord pro. Is it part of dorico or do I have to buy it with Cubase?

Dorico imports (I think) only music XML, midi, audio (currently in the form of a video file). Chord Pro has lyrics and chords, no barlines or concept of bars which will not import as far as I know.
What format are your charts in? or are there export options (as above) in whatever software they exist in?
Dorico usually needs to know where barlines are, where the chords are placed in a bar, time signature etc. (although it has meterless options for cadenzas etc.)

I’m thinking that Chord Pro might be what I need to get, along with Dorico. Thanks much for your help. My chord charts have only the lyrics and chord symbols.
