Does Dorico SE notate guitar notation as well as Dorico 3.5?

Hello.

I have Dorico 3.5 = what an awesome program.

Could someone please tell me if Dorico SE will notate classical guitar music the same as Dorico 3.5.

Many thanks for your help.

Paul.

Yes, all of the guitar notation features of Dorico Pro are included in Dorico SE. Obviously you don’t have Engrave mode for fine graphical adjustment.

Absolutely unreal Daniel.

I will mention the SE version to as many guitarist composers as I can.

Another question please.

Can I install the SE version as well as having the 3.5 version for Windows?

I might get a lot of questions regarding the SE version, so I would like to be able to check for answers from the SE version.

Keep up the great work Daniel, and seeya.

Paul.

You don’t need to install SE separately - there is only one Dorico application. It runs as SE, Elements or Pro dependent on which license it finds.
If you want to run your existing installation as SE, close Dorico completely, then hold the Ctrl key down while clicking on the Dorico icon.

Hey,

Leo Grand Master.

Wow, thank you so much for your explanation.

After runnning Dorico SE , how do I get Dorico to run as Dorico 3.5? I know a senior’s question

Paul.

Just close dorico completely and then open it again.

If you want to run your existing installation as SE, close Dorico completely, then hold the Ctrl key down while clicking on the Dorico icon.

Is there a combo to run Elements as well?

From the Dorico 3 Version History. (LE is now known as SE)
