My Novation 25SL MKII has two physical MIDI Out Ports, and 3 Virtual USB MIDI Ports.
Musical/CC data gets sent out of both physical ports, while Cubase function triggers are are on buttons that go over USB.
Is there no way to include all 3 ports in a MR device?
Hi,
You can change the MIDI Port name in the script.
But multiple at the same time?
Hi,
No, it’s not possible.
What is the use case? Why would you need to send the data doubled?
not doubled, separated data on different inputs.
Many controllers have multiple physical outputs, as well as multiple virtual outputs.
Hi,
What is the use case, please?
I gave it in my original post…
Musical Control/Notation is going out the physical MIDI outs into a MioXL MIDI Patchbay.
Utility/DAW/App/Software Control goes over USB.
Hi,
So this is the only port, which you need in Cubase, right?
So if you move one slider/encoder, it sends multiple data at once. One to the USB port, another to the MIDI 5-DIN. What is the advantage?
Or am I missing something?
No they are programable for each control
Control A can have MIDI 1, MIDI 2, USB 1
Control B can be MIDI 2
Control C can be USB1
Hi,
I see. Then you would need multiple MIDI Remote scripts.

Yes, if using the assistant. By scripting you can have as many ports as you wish to.
