Does Step Input Display Note by Note in the Score Editor?

Hello,

I am not a Cubase user. I am at this stage trying to understand whether Cubase 14 offers anything to the person who wants to compose while viewing notation instead of beams.

Generally yes. You can keep the Score Editor open and do most of your work in there. Step input is also included.

Thank you. I know that this is normally the case in DAWs but I wanted to check if the NEW score editor was real time responsive.

Yes yes, play away on your midi device. It will try to do its best to create a nice looking score immediately. You can then fine tune it a bit afterwards if you like.
