Does the 1.9.7 driver work with OS X 10.11.2?

Hello,

Unfortunatley my computer was at 10.11.2 before I installed this device. Per the instructions I installed the latest version of tools which installs the 1.9.6 driver and then updated to 1.9.7. I figured I’m update the firmware but after plugging the UR44 in, powering it up and starting the firmware update program I received an error saying it couldn’t find the device.

dspMix complains as well. Is this a driver issue or is this something else?

More information. When plugged in the device shows in the system report under both Hardware => USB and Hardware => Audio. Still it’s not recognized by dspMix or the firmware update tool.

Can anyone assist?
