Hey folks:
Some of the cool new C6 features (like right-click on a control and choose “show automation lane”) don’t work on 3rd party VSTs. So I’m wondering if the AI knob on the CMC-AI works universally on any GUI control–even those on 3rd party VST 2.4, VST3, and VSTi plugs or just select ones.
Also, does it work even when the GUI isn’t showing if I lock it? For example, can I lock a filter on an iZotope plugin or a Spectrasonics instrument to the AI knob, close the GUI and go into automation write mode and tweak that value with the AI knob as I’m playing the piece?
Do the QC knobs work the same way?
