Hi, I have the Steinberg UR12 audio interface and I’m trying to play DSD audio (Direct Stream Digital - .dsf and .dff) files through it. I have used the foobar2000 and iRiver Media Center, but as soon as I send DSD audio through ASIO to UR12, the music is played with a high-volume white noise (the music itself is barely audible).
Somewhere on the web I’ve read that this happens when DSD signal is routed through the PCM processor instead of the DSD processor.
So my question is: Does UR12 support DSD? Does it have a DSD processor at all?
