Does VariAudio need to be abandoned also in new Cubase updat

Does VariAudio in Cubase 9.0.10 need to be abandoned also? (Does it use the same warping algorithm as Freewarp?).

The issue is with audio warp markers with Elastique algorithms, Variaudio uses the classic solo algorithm so it shouldnt be affected.
