Hey there,

I’ve to export for TV deliveries a 5.1 surround mix with a Dolby E Mix on channel 7 & 8. What is the workaround nowadays with Nuendo? Do someone have any experience and could give me hint or somewhere to look at?

Hi,

for Dolby E you will need a licensed encoder/decoder suite. Probably one of the most common is the SurCode suite by Minnetonka: https://www.telosalliance.com/tv-post-production/encoding-decoding-software-plug-ins/minnetonka-surcode-for-dolby-e

It supports various common editing and audio systems via different plugin formats. Nuendo is supported via VST 2:

32/64 bit VST for qualified VST 2.4 host (Nuendo, Pyramix, Sequoia)
