Is there a way to DOP the channel EQ and filters? (I guess I could do a Render in Place, but it’s more of a hassle)
Everything in the console strip is also available as a plugin.
Also, try dragging the top of the strip heading in the mixer to the DOP window and see if it copies it. You are able to do that with inserts in the mixer.
Channel EQ as the name suggests are light and optimized for tracks and so can go lower q’s and thus is supposed to hit last in the chain of events and affect everything on the track and DOP is first in the chain., optimized for individual event’s and clips or group of clips, and so on.
Studio EQ and Frequency are optimized slightly differently for example one has autogain and the other doesn’t.
So your best choice for DOP would be Frequency.
Thanks guys. I really just want to commit some HP filtering before bouncing files to send to the mix engineer… Render in place?
