Why is the down arrow for transpose disabled here? I can transpose down with the fine tune or the keyboard, but not the transpose arrow. It doesn’t allow me to type in negative numbers either.
No issue of this kind, here, using Process > Pitch Shift in the DOP window. Both arrows are functional and I’m able to enter negative values as well. This, using either the Transpose or the Fine-Tune settings.
Have you tried to relaunch Cubase in safe mode, with the Disable program preferences option ?
And you’re using all the same settings I have in in my screen shot?
Disabling preferences makes no difference. This is on Sonoma by the way.
FWIW, I’m using these :
Shouldn’t make a difference, AFAIK. How is the audio event involved (format, mono/stereo, something else…) ? On my end, it’s a mono record (a basic clap hand for testing - 24 bits, 44.1 kHz .wav format), set in a stereo (mono actually, sorry…) audio track.
You’re using a different algorithm.
I’ve tried a variety of audio files, but it doesn’t make a difference.
Can somebody running on a Mac try to reproduce this?
Bump. Are there any Mac users who can bring up the DOP dialog and choose Pitch. Make sure Time Correction and Elastique are chosen.
Do you see the transpose down arrow grayed out like in my screen shot above?
