I want to thank our devoted Dorico’s team for implementing the option “Align optical center with left-hand side of notehead”. This feature is a nice one, since I can have the dynamics exactly where I expect them to be with no manual tweaking. Of course it is not as shiny as cues or percussion, but I LOVE it and I know I am not alone !
You’re welcome, Marc. We still need to tweak the actual optical centre point (it’s not currently using the SMuFL metadata for that point) but I’m glad you’re happier with this alignment type.
