Dorico 2.2 MIDI recording: tap MIDI pulse?

Hello Daniel and the Dorico developer team,

I’d like to ask would it be possible to implement tap MIDI pulse option: selectable pedal, MIDI note or computer key to tap MIDI pulse on inputting notes? Finale has this possibility, and this’d be the fastest way for me to input music rather than using Real-Time MIDI Recording.

Welcome to the forum, Hannu. Dorico doesn’t have HyperScribe-style pedal input, and to my knowledge for a time this idea was protected by a patent, so I’m not sure whether or not this is something we can easily implement.
