Dorico 2.2 - No Sound in external apps, problem with ASIO driver

Hi,

after reinstalling Dorico 2.2 on a new PC i encountered the following problem:

While Dorico is active all other sound isnt working (i.e. Chrome). I already followed the steps described here:

BUT: After unchecking the mentioned checkbox “Allow ASIO host application to take exclusive control of selected port configuration” there isnt any sound in Dorico at all but only in external applications.

If anyone has any ideas, I would really appriciate the help as I really need both (Dorico and external App-sound)!

Sure, we’ll help you.

If you untick that “Allow ASIO host…” option, in the middle of that window is a list of output ports.
Does it show anything in there? If not, chances are high that on Windows side you are set to a different sample rate than Dorico.
Please change Dorico’s sample rate and see if some output port turns up.

If you can’t get it going, please create a simple piano project with a handful of arbitrary notes. Then do Help > Create Diagnostics Report which creates silently a zip file on your desktop. Please attach it here. Thanks

after changing the samplerate in Dorico everything works as intended and the output devices show up!
