I get this message after installing Dorico 2;
At first everything was okay, but when I tried (after not getting any sound) to change the Asio generic to the yamaha Asio from my Steinberg CI2
the program kept hanhing on trying to install something;
What am I to do now?
Your case is new, never heard of something similar before.
How about Cubase? Does that still work together with the CI2?
Also make sure that Cubase and Dorico are not running in parallel.
Please try to reinstall Dorico and see if that fixes it for you.
If that does not help, please zip up the folder C:\Users<yourname>\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\VSTAudioEngine2_64
and send to ‘u dot stoermer at steinberg dot de’.

Quick update: Herbert is up and running again. He installed the latest driver for his CI2 and now it’s doing.
