Hi @Elwin_Raffins , to be honest I’m also now out of steam and don’t know anymore. You coul open a ticket with our support staff, maybe one of them still has an idea, but they are notoriously overworked and only heaven can tell when they get back to you. It might take more time than you getting Dorico 4. I’m very sorry that I can’t help you any further on this.

It’s okay. Thank you for your effort, and sorry if you were annoyed at my frustrations. I’ll just take it as “Dorico can now work, even with my external SSD plugged in, even if weird things happen with the E-Licenser.” I think that could last me until I get Dorico 4.
@Elwin_Raffins , no worries, I was not annoyed, just sad that I could not help you further. But see, that is the reason why also we at Steinberg are happy to finally got rid of the eLicenser. You wait and see the new licensing scheme, it will become so much easier…
