Dorico 3 - Disable Glissando Playback

Apologies if this has already been discussed elsewhere - I searched but did not find anything useful.

I recently upgraded to Dorico 3. On the whole I’m quite happy, but the current method of implementing glissandos by playing each chromatic note in between the start & end notes is really, really distracting - at least for violin. Is there any way to disable this and just play the two notes (as in Dorico 2)?

Can you select the gliss and toggle “Suppress playback” from the properties panel?
