For some reason I cannot unactivate click while recording in Dorico 4.0.20. Is this intentional change or is there something I can do to fix the problem? (apart from silencing the metronome from mixer)
It is intentional that you can’t disable the click during recording, yes. I’m surprised that it was possible in previous versions of Dorico, but perhaps it was. I understand that once you have some existing music in the project you don’t really need the click, but it’s not currently possible to disable it.
I see, I am fairly certain it was previously possible to disable the click while recording as I used it quite often (basically almost always when recording). The click can be disabled for recording in all the other programs I have used, so I was a bit surprised to see it not working anymore in Dorico 4.0.2. But luckily it is still easy to mute it from the mixer.
