I’m not sure how challenging this would be to implement. But would it be possible to have a longer default list on the VST dropdown, with a visible indicator that the list is scrollable or not?
Being really cheeky it would be great to have an option to hide items from the list, there are some VST’s like synths editors/librarians, arps and the like that it would be great to be able to exclude from the list as they’re of limited use for me in Dorico.

We have had a few requests in the past to set up a list of VST plug-ins that would be filtered out, and this is something we may implement in future.
