Dorico 4 does not work properly after installing Dorico 5

Here is what I found:

  • Hidden coda signpost does not appear.
  • Changing the flow head does not work.

Why does this happen?
It is unpleasant and wastes time and energy.

Dorico 5 does not affect Dorico 4. We’ve all been running the two versions side-by-side for months in the development team. But you should not try to run the two versions simultaneously, as the audio engines will compete for the same resources, with bad results.
