Dorico 4 to 5 missing Paragraph Styles

I’m trying out Dorico 5 but I’m missing a few of my own Paragraph Styles.
Does anybody know what’s happening?

Dorico should have migrated all your Dorico 4 settings to Dorico 5 when you ran it for the first time. It might be worth checking e.g. the relative sizes of the userlibrary.xml file in /Users/your-username/Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Dorico 4 and the corresponding Dorico 5 folder.

not sure what went wrong. Fixed it by doing the next steps.

First I made a backup of the following files:

/Users/username/Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Dorico 5

then copied the next files

  • userlibrary.xml
  • preferences.xml
  • layoutOptions_scores.xml
  • layoutOptions_parts.xml
  • engravingOptions.xml

from

/Users/username/Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Dorico 4

to

/Users/username/Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Dorico 5
